There's always a point in our lives when we question why we're here. Is there a purpose to us being alive? Are we wasting our lives? Why do we exist? What are we supposed to do? Is it even worth it to live if we're just going to die? There's no real answer to this question, everyone most like has differing opinions about this. We don't know if we were born with a specific purpose, with a life planned ahead of us. The only certainty that we have is that we're going to die one day, and more likely than not, going to suffer along the way.
Many of us waste our time away worrying about everything, even if it's inconsequential. We worry and worry and worry. Will the money suffice this month? Will it be enough to pay the rent and food? And what about the gas and bills? Is my family faring well? What can I do to improve myself and my life? Am I doing well in school? Will I get fired? Will I ever amount to anything? And many more questions, they stress us out and make us doubt ourselves and our abilities. And for what? A mediocre way of living, that's what. Unless you're rich, then good for you! {though that doesn't mean you don't worry!}
The grand majority of the world's population is poor, millions starve to death because they can't afford food and water. Others die of diseases that are easily curable with the right medicines, but they're poor and can't afford it {or maybe their country denies them their needs!} Who knows? Horrible things have always and will always happen, because humans are destructive and selfish and ambitious and vain and just flat out horrible creatures {not everyone, of course, but most}.
The intent of this post, before my fingers ran away from me and started ranting, is that everyone is important, everyone matters, and everyone should try to enjoy their lives, because in the end, they're the ones living it. Do what you like, except if it involves hurting others, and enjoy the road to Hell!

That not-so nice feeling
You know when you get that feeling that something's wrong or that something horrible is about to happen? Yet you rationalize that you're wrong, nothing's going to happen and everything's alright. Well, guess what? it's probably not alright and something is going to happen. Maybe big or maybe small enough to not be noticeable, but it's there and it's true.

The Puppeteer's Smile
Once upon a time, there was existed a girl and a boy. She had messy brown hair, with small brown eyes, her skin was freckled and her tummy still had baby fat. He had short black, curly hair, with dark eyes, his skin was sun-burnt and he had barely any muscles in his 20-year old body. They lived in a cabin, deep in the forest. It was a small place, with the barest of essentials they could find in the woods. They'd hunt for food and drink the water from the river. And you know what the funny thing was? They were happy! With such a lack of luxury and poor physical beauty, they were happy! You know why? Because they didn't have anyone telling them that they needed a big, fancy house and that they need to look perfect at all times in order to be happy!
Society is constantly telling us what we need to do, how to dress, how to act, what to listen to, who to be friends with, who we should shun because they're different. Wanna know a little secret? WE ARE NOT SOCIETY'S PUPPETS. We can only be manipulated if we allow it. Yet...yet people are afraid to be different, because they'd be isolated, maybe even bullied. You know what's society's answer to topics such as depression or anxiety? Be happy, get over yourself, there are people who are worse off than you! Yeah, there are, but that doesn't mean your problems don't matter, because they do. Know what else? You don't "get over" depression and anxiety, because people don't choose to feel that way.
I guess the point I'm getting to is that we don't have to be a certain way to fulfill society's expectations. No one should tell us who we are and what we like, because they're not us. It's our lives, not theirs. Don't try to be someone else if you don't want to, because the only person being hurt is you.

Rumours
It's come to my attention just how much time people spend gossiping. You like to talk about celebrities, your friends, your bosses, your colleagues, etc. You talk about their families, their relationships, what they do and what they don't, and a bunch of stuff that, honestly, no one actually cares about but they keep the gossip chain going because that's what everyone's doing.
It seems to me that no one actually stops to think about what they're doing. Gossip is an invasion of privacy. You are digging into that person's life and talk about things they may not want any one to know! No one wants their entire life on display for others to peruse and judge. When you gossip, you're hurting people. You might hurt them emotionally, you might make their relationships vanish, you might even make them lose their job!
So, next time you hear people talking about someone else, remember that it's not your business and STAY THE FUCK OUT OF IT.

Shopping Etiquette
As it is my understanding, people, women, mostly, enjoying a good shopping spree every now and then, or every week. They don't do it because it's necessary, they do it because it makes them feel good, because they're bored, or because it's a good way to relieve themselves of stress.
However, most shoppers have horrible manners! They're rude and messy. Many are of the mindset that the store associates are there to attend to their every whim and clean up the mess they leave behind. As it stands, that it's not necessarily the case.
Store workers are to keep the place tidy and to aid customers in their shopping. But it's really very rude to go around and throwing the merchandise on the floor after trying it on, in the middle of the store, no less! There is a dressing room, you can go there, try on the items, and they ones you don't want, can be given to the person that works in that area.
You should also keep in mind that these people have probably been working for a few hours straight, they might have a family that needs to be taken care of, or school. They are most likely tired and really don't need to put up with your bad temper! That's not what they're paid for, despite what the popular opinion is. Also, if you're the kind of person that flirts with the store attendants, you should know you're probably making them uncomfortable, even if they don't show it. It is most unprofessional to respond to such advances in a work place.
Lastly, I'd like to mention that a store is not a day care center! Parents, don't go with your kids to a store and leave them to wreak havoc! Not only is it dangerous to let your child out of sight in such a public place, it's also makes people think your parenting skills are bad!
In all, be respectful of other people and their roles as store workers!
