Rumours

It's come to my attention just how much time people spend gossiping. You like to talk about celebrities, your friends, your bosses, your colleagues, etc. You talk about their families, their relationships, what they do and what they don't, and a bunch of stuff that, honestly, no one actually cares about but they keep the gossip chain going because that's what everyone's doing.
It seems to me that no one actually stops to think about what they're doing. Gossip is an invasion of privacy. You are digging into that person's life and talk about things they may not want any one to know! No one wants their entire life on display for others to peruse and judge. When you gossip, you're hurting people. You might hurt them emotionally, you might make their relationships vanish, you might even make them lose their job!
So, next time you hear people talking about someone else, remember that it's not your business and STAY THE FUCK OUT OF IT.

    1. Gossip is not only in high school, gossip is everywhere. Society is one big, centralized gossip factory.
